2011/06/09: Date Stamp 2.2 released

We are pleased to announce Date Stamp 2.2. This release provides full support for Acrobat and Adobe Reader X.

Existing customers are recommended to upgrade to this version if they require any of the fixes in this version or the 2.1 minor releases¹, or if they intend to migrate to Acrobat or Adobe Reader X².

This release also fixes a problem with stamps at the top and bottom of the page not always showing when the shrink to fit option is enabled during printing.

¹ See the Change History section in the Date Stamp Online Guide for a list of all changes.

² Note that customers using Adobe Reader 10.0.* will need to upgrade to Adobe Reader 10.1 as there was a fault with version 10.0.* resulting in documents not printing as expected.

2004/05/17: Date Stamp 2.15 released

Nottingham, United Kingdom

Merlin Open Systems announces the release of Date Stamp version 2.15 today. Date Stamp is an Adobe Reader plug-in which enables PDF documents to be stamped automatically with a time and date stamp or message (as specified by the administrator).

Date Stamp 2.15 enhances the existing product by enabling the administrator to set up stamps using additional font properties such as bold, italic, and underline. Full details are available in the Date Stamp On-line guide.

This version also changes the default action to overlay the stamp rather than appear as a watermark, thereby ensuring that stamps will always appear as required. Stamps can also still appear as watermarks if that is wanted.

2004/02/15: Date Stamp 2.13 released

Nottingham, United Kingdom

Merlin Open Systems announces the release of Date Stamp version 2.13 today. Date Stamp is an Adobe Reader plug-in which enables PDF documents to be stamped automatically with a time and date stamp or message (as specified by the administrator).

Date Stamp 2.13 enhances the existing product by ensuring that the stamp will also print on pages where there are scanned images. In addition, this release enables stamps to appear when the user selects the "Print as Image" option. This enhancement thus ensures that stamps always appear, reassuring the administrator that documents are always stamped as required.
